What exactly do you need?
I was a make up technician at a london college so I am sure I can help. What exactly were you not happy with?

Yeh i posted it on both werent sure where to put it.
I need a kit with everything in it really, different shades and types of foundation etc,and plenty of eyeshadows bright colours, everything really.
I wasnt happy with the college kit because they only gave us compact foundations which arent suitable for every skin type and no lie the amount they gave us was the amount of a £2 coin. The glitters were like sumfing from the pound shop and we only got basic brushes so wouldve had to buy the rest of them extra.

ok
Depends how much you want to spend. You could get everything you need from MAC but its not cheap. They do student discount of 10%. Have you started your course yet? Cant believe they expect you to learn make up skills with such a small and basic kit, do they not have make up in stock for you to use? Usually a tutor would demonstrate with a kit and expect the students to reproduce looks using the same materials. We negotiated a deal with MAC to make available a special student starter kit at around 60% discount. Might be worth talking to your tutor. Other than that you could look at a company called Charles Fox in Covent Garden. They do there own range of specialist pallettes and stock other professional ranges too. As far as foundations go dont go too overboard trying to buy everything at once. Most foundations have a use by date of 12 -24 months so if you arent gonna use them continuously i would buy a small range of colours from fair to dark brown and mix them. RCMA do a great range of cream bases which can be mixed (as do MAC and C. FOX). They may look heavy but with skill you can apply them more sparingly. You might find this is perfect for a lot of fashion/photographic work.
There is a company called Pazeray Bouffard which do brushes. I dont have the number on me but you could try looking them up. C. Fox, MAC, SHU-EMURA etc also do good brushes.
Hope that helps. Where is your course by the way? Is it a short one or HND ?

SUNGLASSES; Budget is about £150,i might investigate into mac but yeh cant imagine theyre cheap.
Yeh ive started my course about 3 weeks ago,its in Dartford,Kent until beginning of June. we all got our kits deliveered to the colege, noone else spoke up about their kit so are sticking with it,more fool them.
We can use the cleansers, toners etc which the college provides but are expectd to use our kits for the practical make up class.
Ill check out the companys fanx.

There are some make up artist kits in boots at the moment in the xmas range with loads of eye, cheek and lip colours. Don't think they include foundation though.
