I want to grow my hair. Help me along the way.

My hair is short , but with longish layers. Its big hair. At the moment when I dry it after washing, I have to deflate it before I can go out.

I have a roundish face (I think? How can I tell?)

Whats the most painfree way of growing it?(In terms of up keep and style).

I don't want all one length hair. Just want to feel a bit more girly.

Just realised what a daft question this is.

Buy GHDs to keep it in order as the layers grow. Have just swapped a 'Judi Dench' for a bob over six painful months, but the GHDs saved me from utter Worzel-ness.
