I'd like these Kitchen Essays

Jewellery in natural shapes? I like the poppy head ones, and the snail ones. Not sure of your budget though.

I looked at this for a friend today. I think it's a cool present.

ahundredtimes · 06/10/2008 16:17

Or I'd get a great and funky photography book. Shall I find one?

I think Amazon sending is fine in the circs isn't it?

BirdyArms · 06/10/2008 16:19

Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day is a lovely Persephone book to give to a friend. Very easy read, along the same sort of lines as I capture the castle. I think that and a food book would be my perfect present.

JackieNo · 06/10/2008 16:19

Necklace?

JackieNo · 06/10/2008 16:21

The Persephone books are gorgeous - definitely a good idea. I also quite fancy 'What would Audrey do?' ().

orangina · 06/10/2008 16:23

Something lovely from toast? this?

squeaver · 06/10/2008 16:23

Why don't adopt a goat or something for her?

Or Edun that lot that Bono's missus works for

ahundredtimes · 06/10/2008 16:23

these are sweet

Agree re the P books. Or those lovely recent Penguin editions.

I'd give one of those and the fridge magnets.

[Though would want to be given the fridge magnets and the Perfume book]

Aitch · 06/10/2008 16:43

beautiful & unusual stuff

your friend sounds spookily like me actually!

Tutter · 06/10/2008 20:36

what about a pink furry purz?

Aitch · 06/10/2008 20:38

lol, she is replete with OK purzes.

dd was caught stroking mine the other day and i ordered her to put is BACK in mummy's bag.
'it's just that it's so soft...' quoth she.

ladies, these sites are FAB, i have already chucked stuff in baskets all over the place. i think you've helped me out for christmas as well.

Tutter · 06/10/2008 20:39

oh yes, and i know you said no smellies, but a girl can never have too many jo malone/diptyque candles

if that's too £££, then how about a fig print cosmetics bag

every girl must have one
