Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share my excitement with other Mummies. I recently bought some gooooorgeous hair clips for my 3 mnth old baby daughter from a very cool USA based company Oopsie Dazie.

Have a look at their selection of clips, headbands, bobbies, headwraps and ponies and you will just fall in love with them! The adorable clips are only $2 each plus there is a reasonable postage cost on top.

We have so many compliments from friends and even people on the street about these little beauties!

Enjoy!

[with pert ass, apparently]

Headwrap????

Trip to casualty may be more effective if your child's head needs holding together....
What the feck is a headwrap? What for?
Why?

combustiblelemon · 05/10/2008 23:49

It's from this:

LL:I keep reading this as "bum lift shocker" and thinking Fabio must have had some sort of feline cosmetic procedure...

It's from the 'Fabio in BMW lift shocker' thread

Oh I seeeee

I thought you I had gone mad.

Headwraps look like the baby's just had major neurosurgery. Not nice at all. Why are people so insecure about total strangers maybe thinking they have a little boy rather than girl?

Am speechless at the First High Heels. Wow.

MummyLena · 06/10/2008 12:19

Hi ladies,

I got your point, but let's agree to disagree. It's a shame that I am considered almost an FBI spy just because I shared my thoughts about smth cute, which I genuinely bought, as I could not find it here. Btw, I also have those Sainsbury's clips, but no longer use them as there is no comparison to OD ones.

It's quite disappointing that my first post on the website was greeted with such 2warmth" and caused so much ridicule and almost bullying. I don't consider myself sad just because I love my little treasure and I will buy her stuff from anywhere, if I love it.

I think you are slightly overstepping the line here with the comments about some of the babies. How would you feel if smbd was saying this horrible stuff about your daughters?

I think we will have to draw the line in under this post. I will not be reading any of your comments, as I find them most upsetting.

I like those clips MummyLena, how much was shipping? Did you have to pay with an American credit card. Am also envious of how much hair your dd has. Mine is nearly two and qiute a bald coot in comparison.

FabioAsGoodAsItGets · 06/10/2008 12:38

MummyLena, you could also consider you are joining an established community. Unfortunately you have committed a very minor social faux pas.

HAve a good lurk around and see if mn is the right place for you - you will be assured of honesty on mn but if you're going to use the word 'bullying' around 'ere you'll come across as being a bit precious.

PS a lot of people - not everyone - but a lot of us are v vocal about the following:

fruit shoots
sausage rolls
early weaning
ridiculous baby names
baby adornment of any kind (ear piercing, anyone...?)
supermarket parking and eating grapes once shopping

If you at all sensitive to any of the above, avoid those threads at all costs. Please note the above is in no way an exhaustive list. Threads can kick off about the price of onions at full moon.

LetThemEatCake · 06/10/2008 20:39

oh god, this thread really disintegrated didn't it?

don't you think it's a little bit 'closed ranks-ish' to refer to MN as an established community? Can't it be an evolving community? Having been in a similar position to Lena's Mummy (posts being misconstrued, vague accusations of misuse of MN etc) I do sympathise with her, although I can see how badly her fp read. (and I really hate those headwraps)

I just want everyone to be nice! Especially to me!!

Fair remarks, ladies, I should have introduced myself first and read the rules.

No, I am not "precious" at all. Love the site, wells of great information.

The way I sounded may be weird, I work as a Senior Sales Manager and am Russian, that's why perhaps sound like a Chelski ad.

P.S.@ Glad we cleared the air though.
