Any ideas?
Active toddler.
Knew I should have got around to this when she was still a little baby! Do you know any websites with suitable clothing or have ANY suggestions, please?????

Monsoon for kids....V pretty dresses.

JackieNo · 03/10/2008 09:44

Not sure whether you want a more traditional look (ie, pale colours etc), but Debenhams have some lovely stuff - red dress
white knit dress
bit more summery
Cute, and pale also comes in red.
And Plenty more choice.

Lots on the Just dresses website:
cream
pale pink
Very traditional
Pink (but probably rather difficult to hold elegantly, with all that tulle)
red kind of nordic looking
More white
ivory
white again (also comes in pale pink)
Too many to choose from really.

Oh I got the most divine Sarah Louise dress for dd's Christening when she was 17 months. Will add a pic to my profile when I go downstairs onto the other computer.

On profile now .

We got dresses from mamas and papas for the dds as dd1 was 15mths old.

Nemoandthefishes · 03/10/2008 10:14

meant to say some of it depends on your budget. We only paid £30 per dress but thats because we were having 2 of them done and was also dhs 30th and we were completly skint as he had no job at the time.

JackieNo · 03/10/2008 10:15

CSWS - that's gorgeous, and a fab pic too.

SlimX · 03/10/2008 19:32

Thank you all so much! Have gone from avoidant behaviour to excited (as it should be!). Will now spend hours pouring over options...

And blimey, CSWS.
Check out that play house!
I know I'm going off topic here but wow!
You must have a queue at the gate every day.
And yes, beautiful photo of your dd. What an angel she looks.
I am spoilt for choice now with all of these suggestions. It will be November 2nd so potentially a bit chilly. Actually loving the white knittted dress from Debenhams as a funky alternative. But maybe this is one of those chances in life for us to indulge in wearing a proper frock, IYKWIM?!? Can always add little white cardie / jacket. What fun.

We got a Party dress and matching cardi from Asda (photo on profile)

SlimX · 04/10/2008 20:24

I can't believe that's from Asda.
Too glam!
(And another angel...)
