I get a couple of hours child free shopping next week in London after an early morning work function.

i need a suit but would never ever wear a black polyester one or anything like them. I need something funky and different but have no idea where to look. suggestions please. money not a problem for the rith suit.

I used to find Zara quite good for suits but haven't shopped for one in a while - sorry. Hope you find something lovely and enjoy your solo shopping time - I well understand how precious!

Paul Smith Black if you're keen and rich! If you go to Covent Garden there is a shop and Ted Baker is very close (also worth a look). Otherwise Reiss (not good on me, I'm too flat-chested), Jigsaw, LK Bennett?

westwood or jaegar currently

COS, 222 Regent Street, the Picadilly side, it's the best shop I have been to in AGES! I am absolutely hooked. You will not be disappointed. It's owned by the Hennes company but is so so so much more upmarket.
