Have you had a cosmetic tatoo?

What was it like? Did it hurt? Did it work? Does it look like the real thing?

I once had wonderful thick black eyebrows, but have lost them. I'm contemplating the idea of getting them tatooed, but don't want to look like a mad woman who has over-plucked and tried to draw her eyebrows back on with eyeliner!

How do I find out about this sort of thing?

I know how you feel PC, I suffer from an OCD called Trichotilomania (hairpulling) and for a long time I had no eyebrows. I am now pullfree and have eyebrows again..

My MIL has had it done

her eyebrows are excellent, but her lipliner less so

they look really natural - she said it didn't hurt too much and they numb it anyway

I contacted the Karen Betts place and they sent me a patch-testing kit for the dye. And a price list. Ouch! I think the credit crunch just bit me.

Hiya ive just recently had my eyebrows done this week im just going through the peeling stage of the healing process...had mine done at lasting touch salon in the west midlands she was very good and not as expensive as karen betts
mine cost me £149 but at the time she had a trial offer on

it didnt hurt and at times i didbnt even feel her doing it its looking bit odd at the momnent as its peeling off and fading in places have to go back in 4 weeks for the 2nd phase on it
