And now onto more serious matters - I need help finding a pair of boots..........

I intend to treat myself this month and buy a new pair of boots - my current pair are old and falling to pieces and desperately need replacing.

I'm usually wearing jeans so need go with jeans - not bothered whether they're black or brown (whatever the MN jury decide

They MUST have a similar type heel to the ones I already have - as playing the organ with anything thinner results in some strange sounding noises - and flat not an option I need somthing to make me look a bit taller.

Don't want to spend too much - I think around £50 maximum.......(and that's pushing the boat out for me so I hand it over to you to help me out

missblythe - I've had had much luck with New Look boots/shoes - they don't seem to last that long (actually I've had more longer lasting cheapy boots for £8/9 than I have with New Look )

Really? How shoddy! Have only ever had their sandaly/flipflop type things, and I don't expect them to last long anyway, I 'spose.

Hmm, where to look now...

FAQ · 02/10/2008 08:51

maybe I've just had bad luck - but after 2 pairs that didn't last me very long I avoid them now (hence the reason I@m now looking online for some - as we only have New Look, Cheapy shoe shop, Matalan and a tiny Clarkes in town - and I want to treat myself to some nice ones).

These are a bit over budget, but nice...

ok anymore ideas?

This has now become urgent as my boots have now become dangerous - I've nearly slipped a few times because the heels are so worn, but today in town I nearly twisted my ankle, was hobbling along for about 10 minutes......
