are they no good for fat legs? didn't use to think lower legs were fat but not sure now?

I thiknk it depends what you are wearing them with.

I love mmary jane style, but with a heel, and I have short, not fat, but stocky ,legs.

I think maybe a very flat shoe with a high t bar would not look good on less than perfect legs.

Tell us more. Wat are the shoes like? what are you wearing them with and what are your legs actually like?

Agree depends what you wear with. Lowish t-bar and heel more flattering than high and no heel

also much depends on ankles

You can get away with those shoes, but they are not the most flattering style on anyone.

I remember being forced to wear t-bar shoes as a child, and having many tears and tantrums in shoe shops because I was desperate for slip-ons!

It's beyond me why any sane adult would wear them out of choice.....

I must admit to liking these and Mary Jane style in general.

I think the t-bar with a pale strap is okay... what are you going to be wearing? Is it for general wear or special occasion ?

You have good legs so it shouldn't be too hard...
