Help please, the dress code is party not rather than wedding but don't want to look like something that would sink the titanic. Can't afford Isabelle Oliver and will probably only wear it once.

Red? Quite summery though (though that might not be a problem - I was always pretty warm when pg)

JackieNo · 01/10/2008 18:35

Darker and more wintry?

TillyScoutsmum · 01/10/2008 18:39

££££ though. Ebay it after ?

TillyScoutsmum · 01/10/2008 18:40

Ooops first link is a cake - suggest you don't wear that !

McDreamy · 01/10/2008 18:50

I nearly bought Tillyscouts second link for my brother's wedding but ended up choosing this one I know you said you didn't want IO but they have 20% off at the mo and you could sell it!

JackieNo · 01/10/2008 19:18

Ooh - I love Tillyscoutsmum's second link - the shift dress. Gorgeous.

fruitstick · 01/10/2008 20:30

These are all wonderful. Tillyscout, you in particular have excelled yourself. Thank you!

I'm a 16 so, to be honest, the cake might just work!

If you're going for cake couture - can I suggest 3rd across, 2nd down - its the one I've just ordered for my wedding (hence having the link )

shhhh · 01/10/2008 22:51

ohhhh tsm, also looks lovely opposite, as in 2 across 3 down ... hmmmmm..

TillyScoutsmum · 01/10/2008 23:01

sorry - yes - that's the one actually. Good job I don't do crosswords isn't it ?

shhhh · 01/10/2008 23:12

lol

Szyslak · 02/10/2008 10:04

I hired an outfit for my brothers wedding when 8months pregnant, and doing a reading.

See if any where does this it worked well.

I chose badly though. i chose a pale pink tunic dress with matching coat, now looking back on photos I look like the queemn mother

orangehead · 02/10/2008 10:09

There is a quite a few websites that hire maternity wear. That way you can get something stunning for fraction of the price and not have to worry about wearing it again
