Do they exist??? ORDINARY, LONG-sleeved t-shirts for 3 year old boy!!

Hi

I love putting long sleeved Ts under short sleeved shirts for DS. You know, the layered look.

Trouble is, plain long sleeved t-shirts apparently don't exist.

Every shop sells faux-layered long sleeved t's, you know, with the fake white long sleeved t-shirt sleeves and collar. Or solid colour long sleeved t-shirts with all sorts of garb printed/stitched/layered on top.

I just want ordinary, solid colour (white preferably!!!) t shirts for a big 2.5 year old boy!!!!

Where can I find them??

Help!!

I got a load of them cheaply from Vertbaudet a while back. They aren't totally plain - they have some sort of lame surf dude motif on the front - but they are nice, cotton, come in lots of different colours, wash well and work well under t-shirts 9you can't see the motif then, either).

Here (scroll down to bottom for plain colours) but not in white.

PortAndLemon · 30/09/2008 18:41

And here (more expensive though).

dinny · 30/09/2008 18:43

yes, found exactly what you are looking for in Woolworth's - snapped them up, three for £3 as I need them for same reason

snowleopard · 30/09/2008 18:43

Sainsbury's do them in sets of 3 - they are their cheapest ones as they aren't covered with hideous logos

You can also find similar 2 or 3-packs at H&M sometimes. Or if you've got spare cash, these Boden ones are plain-ish and Boden boys' stuff lasts ages.

FritziGreenEyes · 30/09/2008 18:54

Zara!

MadameCastafiore · 30/09/2008 18:55

Got DS some in M&S think they were £1 each - ordered them from the website.

giddykipper · 30/09/2008 18:58

Rainbow Babies!!

I sound like a stuck record

woodenchair · 30/09/2008 19:00

Supermarkets are good for this sort of thing. I've got them from Tesco and Sainsbury's before. I think H&M have some in at the mo

MorocconOil · 30/09/2008 19:03

I get them from H&M

AnotherFineMess · 30/09/2008 19:05

Just got a 4-pack in plain, primary colours (well, there is a tiny monkey face on bottom right hem but nothing to offend) from Next for £9.

blowsy · 30/09/2008 19:07

I just got some for my dss from H&M,in two packs - one plain white and one black.

I too like to put them under t-shirts!

beansmum · 30/09/2008 19:08

h&m and next.

MrsBadger · 30/09/2008 19:09

I get through lots of these under dd's dungarees - TESCO & sAINSBURY BEST SOURCES (whoops)

lilQuidditchKel · 30/09/2008 19:15

Ahah looks like H&M might be a winner. Thanks for the other suggestions too...though I have been to (2) Woolworths (nope), BHS (nope), Tesco (no), Gap (no), and Next (no).

maybe the shops near me have all been raided by like-thinking mums so there are just none left

but oh it's frustrating, especially with 2 LOs in tow, to traipse around shops looking for something utterly simple, and find NOTHING!!!

Sainsbury's. About a fiver for three. Probably made my three year olds too, like everyone else's.

lilQuidditchKel · 30/09/2008 19:20

OMG I have fallen in love.

Rainbow Babies is the BOMB!

Thanks so much!!!!
