expatinscotland · 26/09/2008 12:45

wax it.

if you can afford it, laser/IPL.

pagwatch · 26/09/2008 12:47

oh it is like Christmas.
I am so happy.

All the boys at DS1's school say hello to her when they see her and anyone being rude to her gets an immediate slap.
My DS1 held the door open for her and she called him a nice young man. He was very proud

pagwatch · 26/09/2008 12:50

yes - love to.
I'm in town most days

I had IPL but only three sessions before I got pg with DS1, worked OK I thought. After two pregnancies, I'm now left with an upper lip which is extremely sensitive to UV, so much so that it tans much faster than the rest of my face. It's a pigmentation issue I've been told.

I also have quite dark hair there. So it's either bleach it and hope that it bleaches the pigmented bit too or wax the hair and bleach the skin anyway. I get so pissed off with it all though, sometimes I can't be arsed to do anything at all

I hate the summer, I've loved this year though as we've not had a lot of sun!

wax it, pluck it, stay indoors in the daylight hours

mrsmacleod · 26/09/2008 19:41

I had electrolysis for mine. It took about a billion sessions - was painful and expensive. Totally worth it not to have to eve bleach/wax/tread again.

shivermetimbers · 27/09/2008 08:36

join the circus

shinyshoes · 27/09/2008 09:19

I wax

bluebump · 27/09/2008 19:00

I've got one of those home electrolysis machines, it wasn't too expensive, from Argos I think. I haven't used it for a while as I was pregnant but might dig it out the cupboard now baby has arrived as i'm sure pregnancy brought on even more hair!

Or you could practise not giving a crap. I am of mediterranean heritage and the owner of a frida kahlo style tache (though NOT a unibrow).

I don't do anything to it.

It has never affected my ability to attract potential whatevers.

I personally would draw a line at wiry hairs growing out of moles/chin.
