What sort of boots to go with interview outfit ?

So I have an interview on Thursday. Have dusted off a simple black knee length dress, and black M & S jacket. I need to get some boots, but am not sure what sort. Not big on mahoosive heels, but want something stylish and cheap. Also, what colour, and what about tights etc ? Help please as I normally slob around in jeans and scruffy tops and need to scrub myself up for this.

Over to you.

Thanks

Black, medium heel, neat. If you MUST But

Personally, I think boots look too casual for an interview and would suggest a variation on the medium-heeled court shoe or a T bar style. Plenty around in Next.

erm dunno about stretch - just don't want to spend a fortune. Would prefer leather I suppose.

Can't see myself in court shoes - haven't worn 'em since the 80s, but if I must...

Mary Janes?

I'd avoid boots I think.

boots very warm if you are nervous

how smart is job?

I think avoid the boots. Not proffessional for an interview.

boots too cas for businessy interview IMO - prissy courts much more appropriate

stretch boots wold do for meeja / crwativey jpob

oh dear, the consensus is no boots then. Crap - will have to get some ...court shoes...then...

I cannot ignore your advice. I'll let you know if I get the job
