Whenever i step outside my hair goes frizzy and kinks.

it is weather. you need a nice conditioner but not too much of it. do not touch serums or other 'smoothing' product, they will kill your poor hair further. waitrose umi deep conditioner is as good / better as things i've paid 10x for.

Rescue drops..off the GHD website..work even on my 'mad scientist' barnet..

Really fishie with the serum?Maybe thats where im going wrong..too much product?

llareggub · 11/09/2008 22:06

Hand cream. It smooths the hair and smells great too. Just don't go mad.

I can't agree on the serum warning. My hair would be a real frizz ball with frizzease or similar. I use a tiny amount of the John Frieda stuff, blow dry then top up with a smidge of hand cream.

Really?!Any hand cream?Or specific brand? Am willing to try anything..

Beauregard · 11/09/2008 22:08

I do condition it well because it is dyed every few weeks but the humidity really affects it.
Handcream really?
How much should i put on?

You'll need to experiment with the amount of handcream depending on the length of your hair.

I have shoulder length, frizzy hair and use a slightly bigger than a pea size amount.

I don't think the brand matters. I've used Molton Brown, Avon and Origions. But not runny, definitely not runny hand cream.
