Where to buy boys shoes?

Not the following;
Next, Start-Rite, Clarks, Vertbaudet, Shoe Direct.

All crap.

I think retailers have completely bypassed boys boots/shoes this season.

My DS (age 4) has these ones from next. V that is the boots.

They're really nice and i've been stopped twice in town by people to ask where they were from.

Good non-school boots imo.

Nbg · 08/09/2008 17:04

Sorry tracey but I'm not keen on any of the Next ones.

I saw loads of nice ones last winter but ds had only started walking then.
Typical.

Nbg · 08/09/2008 17:08

How old is he? When DS was younger we did start rite little boot type things. He still has start-rite for school.

traceybath · 08/09/2008 17:25

Oh ignore me - just seen startrite were no good.

God - my brain has gone today.

traceybath · 08/09/2008 17:26

timberland so expensive

Nbg · 08/09/2008 17:35

Its ok tracey, everyday is like that for me

He's just turned 2 but started preschool and finally grown out of his clarks ones.

sketchers aand merrels are my shoes of choice for DS. They fit really well, are apparantly comfortable, and don't fall apart easily despite the abuse they get from DS.

I usually get them from T K Maxx.

Nbg · 08/09/2008 17:48

I need to buy online because we only have clarks suppliers here

I'll have a look at Merrel. I've never seen their kids shoes before.

How many shoes do your boys have cod?

He's got a pair of white 2 velcro strip thingys from Next and then summer canvas ones.
He wore the trainers yesterday and they were covered in mud and crap. They had to be washed.
Plus they wont do him through winter.

It is actually official.

Boys shoes/boots this season are categorically shite.

I'm not pissed off from looking at all.

brimfull · 09/09/2008 13:51

bozza · 09/09/2008 13:57

bozza · 09/09/2008 13:58

LOL at that timberland site. Some of the shoes are nice (and DS has ended up with Timberland school shoes) but would you really buy a toddler some chelsea boots?

Fimbo · 09/09/2008 14:02
