which colour boots are better?

so i'm looking for flat, casual boots to wear with jeans or skirts. everyday boots that are vaguely fashionable. which colour should i go for?

i think i agree re: the black thing. i always think they look at bit too biker bitch for me, but i lost confidence on the brown ones because i actually have so many black tops/skirts, etc....

I have been known to wear flat black Boots (from Faith last year) with skinny jeans. I didn't look biker-ish at all.

But I do like brown boots better....

these black boots were high and quite full on looking. maybe rather than biker bitch it was a bit goth or matrix, not something that suits me to be sure!

I have some tan coloured boots which I love and they go with everything so I would say the brown
