Good hairdresser required in Dorset - I am in Blandford but go to Poole and Bournemouth a lot too.

Synergy in Blandford looks promising as it is a redken stockist but anyone else got any recomendations. Have been with my previous hairdresser for years and it took a while to find him so I am nervous.

No idea TSAP but was thinking about you earlier, and your desire for picnic sites - and thought what about Bryanston woods? if you drive through the gate and up the drive, there's a clearing you can park (if you can't walk there in the first place) - lots of nice walking and a wee church - we spent many a happy afternoon skipping around when we were wee!

twinsetandpearls · 29/08/2008 13:18

We live opposite Bryanston woods, we are there every evening.

lol and my desire for picnic sites, you make it sound dirty

INfact if you look at my profile you can see my back garden and the trees of Bryanston woods.

Ah.

And I thought I had breaking news!

twinsetandpearls · 29/08/2008 14:52

lol it is a nice walk though, although the dog keeps going in the river and then stinking the house out when he gets home.

my SIL goes to Weymouth from Watford to get her hair cut - I assume it must be quite a good one (or just much cheaper). I can ask her where she goes if you like

twinsetandpearls · 29/08/2008 18:39

Gosh that is dedication. Please Tommy

hmm... just been chatting to MIL (who goes to same hairdresser) - it's called Curls on Lodmoor Hill - the woman is called Diane but TBH I'm not really sure if it's what you would be after. I get the impression from MIL that it's a bit old fashioned - she goes every week for a shampoo and set...

Sorry - not really any help there. I can recommend a good (more funky) one in Southampton if you ever venture out of Dorset!!

Jodee · 02/09/2008 20:28

Blueberryberet, I've used that one in Tuckton (I live in Tuckton!). I like to try different stylists after a while, and have used Ashleigh Harford on Pokesdown Hill, Boscombe East and currently go to John Paul Salon in Southbourne, would recommend them both.
