The fabric ones?

DH really wants a couple for out LO, bless him. He thinks they are really cute, have tried ebay buy they are all hideous.

The only nice ones seem to be attached in sets with outfits and she doesn't need anymore clothes!

"cute baby headbands" surely a contradiction in terms???

Cappuccino · 16/08/2008 12:35

"have tried ebay but they are all hideous"

clue there for you

SparklyGothKat · 16/08/2008 12:38

noooo don't do it, there is no point, baby will not have hair and it looks silly

SoupDragon · 16/08/2008 12:41

There is no such thing as a cute baby headband.

KnockOffNorbert · 16/08/2008 12:43

Noooooooooooooo, don't do it!

NorkyButNice · 16/08/2008 12:48

They are possibly the most hideous clothing invention ever - unless your child is born with a freakishly unusual crop of hair that is falling into her eyes, she has NO need for a headband!

lilymolly · 16/08/2008 13:02

Dont do it

They are awful x

CountessDracula · 16/08/2008 13:06

I agree
Your dd won't thank you for it in later life when she looks like a baby out of eastenders in all her early photos

belgo · 16/08/2008 13:08

disenchanted, your baby will look very cute without a head band, I promise

Piffle · 16/08/2008 13:09

please divorce him...

mamadiva · 16/08/2008 13:23

Whilst I personally don't like them it's up to the OP and I know my friend liked them for her DD when she was about 6 months old becuase she had no hair and people kept thinking she was a boy.

She got some lovely ones from Monsoon I think it was £6 for 2 one pink and one lilac with a little mesh butterfly on them. Very cute I must admit.

DisenchantedPlusBump · 16/08/2008 13:24

Didn't expect to come back to this this,

SGK Both my sons have had 2 inches of black hair covering their entire heads, so I don't think she will be bald.

We like them,

I din't ask for opinions, thankyou.

Soupy is this baby dragon?
Takes after mum

SoupDragon · 16/08/2008 13:32

If you don't want opinions, you should know better than to ask anything whatsoever on Mumsnet

SoupDragon · 16/08/2008 13:32

(No, Fabio. BabyDragon does not have her ears pierced!)

CaptainFabioHiltsTheCoolerCat · 16/08/2008 13:34

(my apologies)
(notice you didn't deny the wings)

SparklyGothKat · 16/08/2008 14:19

sorry disenchanted, didn't realise your boys had hair at birth.
Claries do some tiny headbands, have a look in there.
BTW the bunnies are doing well, their coats have lightened and they are both really friendly (thanks to Dd1 picking them up on very chance)

DisenchantedPlusBump · 16/08/2008 14:42

Awww Im glad to hear it

We found another one on Thursday! It was under our car, DS1 spotted it, the RSPCA picked it up the next day. I feel awful as it must have been someones pet but I had no-where to put it till I found out, we knocked on doors but no-one had a clue, so had to call the RSPCA

SoupDragon · 16/08/2008 14:50

She's a Dragon Fabio, of course she has wings.

CaptainFabioHiltsTheCoolerCat · 16/08/2008 14:53

Oh.

SoupDragon · 16/08/2008 14:56

I'll let you off, you've had your nads cut off and we all know where men keep their brains.
