Where can I find a duck egg blue coloured satin fish tailed skirt from?

Yes, I know, that's quite a few key words! It's just that a while back I bought a beautiful tulle top in that colour, heavily beaded but don't have anything to go on the bottom half except for sparkly jeans which doesn't do it justice and isn't appropriate if wearing it to a wedding.

Tried ebay and saw one or two possibilities. Any wise mners out there who could help me? Thanks.

Yes, you're right about the fishtail thing - just a shaped bit at the back, and can be long or short (well, knee length, and longer, I'd say).

Haven't found any more satin skirts, but did find this which looks silvery. Not sure abou the shape though - it would be a rather different look.

that's a nice top. I would say a silver grey pencil skirt or chocolate brown.

Hello again. I said I'd be back. I've uploaded the picture of the top on my profiles if you haven't seen it yet. Given up on same coloured skirt. Am I right in thinking that a fish tailed skirt is just one with a slight fluted hem at the back? A lot of posters here I gather have images of a long skirt with a train which I guess would justify the name. I'm not looking for a train!

Agree with theirmum that silvery grey might look better with it.

Yes go for brown not the same colour or you need exact fabric and colour match and then will look odd top to toe in duck egg blue satin!
