I have a date! what on earth do i wear?

Meeting for coffee/lunch at a smart bar(well lots of leather sofas)

All I have come up with is white jeans and black t shirt.
Very limited wardrobe.
Any suggestions?
Date is a Musician,he is casual but clean

white jeans black tee sounds good if you have good legs and bum - but a tad boring ... how will you accessorise? scarf is always good, wrist cuff is good - what shoes?

We met on beach so i was in crops and t shirt.

I have some fab black high heeled sandals.
Dont do scarves,wear six silver bracelets,really want to show off my tan and arms.

Jeans and NICE t-shirt. You need to be comfy and not feel like you're trying tooo hard. HH sandals and short/no sleeve t-shirt?

My dh tells me he can't remember what i used to wear but I always smelt lovely and not overpowering!! HTH!

I am a jeans and tee girl too my husband says it's sexy, if that's any help - nothing more offputting than someone who looks like they're trying too hard (take note Gok)

and then took them off and walked in bare feet home in june

gave me the opportunity to say i didnt wear shoes for a year easrlier in my life

I wore the sandals!
We were in the bar for 4 hours then a coffee and a walk on the prom.
