When I was a slim apple they looked great, I always received positive comments.

I disagree with apples wearing empire line dresses they always made me look pregnant even when I had a flat tum.

a well-made wrap on an apple is fine, dunno about boden but dvf is great at positioning pattern. cheap wraps look shite on everyong and empire line is imo ghastly on a neat apple.

wouldnt say boden was a cheap wrap but definitely not as forgiving as dvf

am peasr and only wear wrap dresses

thanks fishie. I've never tried empire...in fact shy away from frocks altogether, but I need to do something about my dress sense/style as my big 40 is fast approaching.

I love the boden wrap dresses. I coudn't tell you if I were an apple or a pear really. All I know is I used to be a lovely slim size 12 with wonderful boobs. then I had dd and I've never got my self back

I used to wear any style of dress and look good. Why did I not appreciate it more at the time?

not all of her dresses suit apples, imo, but this jeanne style suits me. quite high on the belting, collar, skirt not too long and three-quarter sleeves. (not that this is my size, but if it was i'd consider buying it).
