okay, so you can see my hair and give me advice on what to do with it. That's me in the pink.

Following on from other thread - going out tonight, no time to wash or blowdry, hair is a birdsnest at present, bundled up into a bun. what can I do with it tonight to make the dirt & scuzz factor work for me.

Thanks loads!

That is quite a reaction to (I thought) some helpful suggestions. Are you having a bad day?

There is nothing better than clean, freshly washed hair. Good for the soul. Have a shower, you'll feel better for it. DS used to play on the shower room floor quite happily. He stands there and laughs at me now.

I think I've heard that talc thing before. Talc I can do!! Lots of it lying around! Thanks for the suggestion

MsDemeanor, really am sorry for snapping. I am just solo mum most of the time, dh works crazy hours, all my family live overseas sob sob whatever, I work full time from home while lookig after the babies and yes, I manage a shower every day but that's about it. So maybe I am just feeling a bit sorry for myself and wishing that my mum could come and take over to give me a few hours in the bathroom so that just for once I could go out not feeling like I've been dragged through a bush backwards.

None of this, however, is your fault. So apologies for my foul temper.

I use handcream to smooth my hair down a bit when I can't be arsed to wash it. My hair is very frizzy so needs blowdrying. Handcream works and doubly good, it smells good too.

Have you got a cool hat? I have a leather baker boy hat which really suits me that I pull on in a hair emergency.

Go on, finish the feed, put the baby in his chair, give him a rattle and leap in to shower ignoring any piteous wails. There might be some crying, but they won't die of it! You will feel better for it too. I cannot believe your hair is ever really a frizzball!

start plaiting from the very top and add in a little bit extra to the three section each time you use them, does that make sense? Lots and lots of eyeliner too so it doesn't look too Laura Ashley
