As it says really - just trying to see how many people dislike them, as they are so popular.

Not sure what I dont like about them, but they just look odd ....

Do not even bother to discuss on here why you like them - go and start your own counter-thread!!!!!!!!!

Keep them coming - so much to say about a very sad shoe type - does anyone know where they came from, or is someone having a laugh at us Brits??!!

seriously fucking fowl

Jewelsandgems · 07/08/2008 20:44

Ugly, totally void of style.

betterhalf · 07/08/2008 20:45

Vile things

megcleary · 07/08/2008 20:46

I absolutely hate them and they came from hell!!

derelicte · 07/08/2008 20:47

They are ugly and I judge all wearers harshly. Yes, even the little children.

andyrobo237 · 07/08/2008 21:57

You see I think little children can be forgiven as their parents make them wear them!!

Which is the most vile colour you have seen?

I did see a lady cross the road in front of my car in a denim jacket and cropped denim trousers and finished off with a pair of lurid pink crocs - they just stook out - I watched them walk down the road - the woman was almost invisible!! And that was with the tango tan and PJ wearing in the day thatgoes on around here (Scouseland)

OK on kids (have even bought my son some - so practical) but vile on adults. I know a couple who both wear crocs. I scoffed inwardly when i saw her in them. But when I saw him in them I nearly died laughing. bright green crocs on a 40 yr old man. My God.

HATE them.

Was looking for Croc alternatives for dd's holidays on here a while ago and got a few "what could possibly be wrong with crocs?" responses. I bowed out quickly.

This was after a mum at school asked me "don't you do crocs?" in a somewhat snooty manner.

squeaver · 07/08/2008 22:05

my eyes my eyes!!

Can't take credit for this btw, think it was cod who posted it first

MrsTicklemouse · 07/08/2008 22:07

With a passion. dp suggested a pair to dd (2.10) and she said "No I hate them". That's my girl.

andyrobo237 · 07/08/2008 22:11

decorate your feet - why

Why call them jibbitz as well - sounds a bit like giblets from a chicken!!

they are the most hideous creations known to man imvho. They make the smallest and neatest feet look like plastic coated dolphins.

surreylady · 07/08/2008 22:19

not passing our door ever and interestingly NEVER has anyone visit with them - not that we would let them in of course....

andyrobo237 · 07/08/2008 22:23

Jelly bags - I had one when I was younger and I thought I was the bees knees!! Mine was like this but yellow IIRC

a bag

But would you have to coordinate you bag and shoes - or go for a clash??

OP posts:
Word · 07/08/2008 22:24

Don't forget to get one of these too

andyrobo237 · 07/08/2008 22:33

naffola..

Hate hate hate them. DD seems to want a pair, and DH said I was being mean not letting her have a pair..

I am sure that she would look lovely in hers but it just seems like a slipperly slope and I might find that they are actually a very sensible option and I may decide to forgo my taste in shoes for practicability and that worries me! so none for DD...

I am pleased to say that I don't actually go out and about with ANYONE that owns a pair so have never had to deal with the embarrasement factor...

BUT, I know that Luluamama owns a pair so am really hoping that she won't be wearing them at the Christmas Manc Meetup...

Belgianbun - my DD pissed in her Crocs twice today

Hmm - might be worth hanging on to mine for when my bladder control's not so good too. Oh yes - another Croc plus point... there's just no end to their practicality is there.
