still can't believe what a fashion item these have become - in my native Australia they were only worn by the lowest members of society when I was growing up!
I do have a pair though and they are very cosy for slopping around the house in when the it's cold out. But to wear out and about? Blech.

they are horrid. hate them - they are like a uniform for teenage girls wtih skinny jeans tucked in but then older women wear them and look, frankly, stupid

I do have some of the chesnut colour long ones and love them! But, I wear them with a fleece for country walks! Not with summery dresses, not with skinny jeans unless on said walks. They are awfully cosy on my toes.

Not cool no, and not worn with dresses. But very cosy.
