Do we like Dr Martens wedges or do we think they are doubtful?

Because there were some in the sale yesterday and I submitted.

They are red and the only kind of heels I could possibly ever wear without keeling over. And they are really comfy!

Here you go

They had these as well but are too tight and a bit wobbly so are going back

I have big old feet.

Second pair are yucksville!

MaryAnnSingleton · 02/08/2008 08:28

Cappuccino · 02/08/2008 08:29

I love the first pair, have seen them before

not so keen on number 2

Flightputsonahat · 02/08/2008 08:30

Sorry, I think they are ugly.

MaryAnnSingleton · 02/08/2008 08:31

no if you like them you must keep them - they're just a bit clog-ish for me...must be the rivets

Flightputsonahat · 02/08/2008 08:31

Ooh Capp likes them

Goody.

Flightputsonahat · 02/08/2008 08:32

I know Mary Ann, I am not struck with the rivets either but they kind of diminish in use iyswim, don't really see them when on.

It is the comfort and the solidity and the fact they had them in my size that I like

Very nicely made I have to say. That is something I care about a lot with shoes.

Flightputsonahat · 02/08/2008 08:33

Plus they make me taller again and I haven't felt tall for years!!

OP posts:
Cappuccino · 02/08/2008 08:34

I am the last person to ask

Flightputsonahat · 02/08/2008 08:35

Ooh!

I feel all happy again now

Stella, I got them in Qube yesterday, it was the last pair on the sale shelf and they were £35 - not as cheap as Amazon but no postage I suppose.

Am taking the in today to try and get a bit more off as one of the buckles has a bit missing, might be able to get it fixed at a repair shop if they haven't another pair.

I like the tan ones as well, actually - but these will do for now! Might dye them later if I get fed up with looking like Dorothy.

love the wedges - first pair.

I want some

constancereader · 02/08/2008 09:56

I like them.

But then I wear Art Sandals

My neice won't walk down the street with me when I am wearing them.

forevercleaning · 02/08/2008 09:57

love doc martens - practically live in them and converse, but soz don't like those wedges and the 2nd pair are even worse!

meep · 02/08/2008 09:58

love the red ones!

What are Art Sandals constancereader?

Ready4anotherCoffee · 02/08/2008 09:59

love these too...

DontCallMeBaby · 02/08/2008 10:07

I like the first pair so much I bought them twice (a black pair and a tan pair; I love the red but played it safe). Really comfortable, and I get to be taller - result.

I don't like the second pair, that heel somehow doesn't do it for me.

Art sandals, meep, (I have a pair of these too; my name is DCMB and I LIKE CLUMPY SHOES).

Sparkletastic · 02/08/2008 10:16

Red pair are nice, brown pair are not.
