Hi Sawyer- I see where you are coming from, but I suppose my reservations are that all these diets are not real food- and to lose weight and keep it off you have to eat properly all the time and exercise. Over 6 months it should be possible to re-educate your palate and eat really good nourishing food- not stuff out of bottle or packets that has been made in a lab.

No matter how nutricious they might seem, I doubt if they can really replace all the tiny amounts of trace minerals etc that are in real food- and if you look at the calories content, you could get the same values from eating real food!

I lost almost 7lb doing the super juice diet by jason vale. I loved the juice as well.

I do agree with you,but I think sometimes it is too daunting to lose 4 stone + and this can provide an answer for some people.

I do know some people who have managed to "eat healthily" and lose loads of weight,but for some people,restricting all the high calorie/High carb food would need to be for about 1-2 years to lose 4 stone + and these people cannot keep up their motivation that long.

At least this way,the weight comes off within 6 months,and teaches them to refocus their eating habits towards more healthy options when they have reached their targets.

Then the battle to keep the weight off begins! But with any diet/Healthy eating Plan you have this.Just with this way you do your "retraining" at the end,instead of throughout.IYSWIM.

i have done ww twice (after each pg) and i lost 5lb in the first week both times. 2-3lb the other weeks

30g porridge for breakfast (made with water or half skimmed milk half water) and a sprinkling of nutrasweet

lunch steamed fish and salad/vegetables

piece of fruit

and tbh i had porridge again for dinner, but you could have something with equal points ie tuna on toast (no spread or mayo) and a salad

water to drink
no milk in tea or coffee

do not eat after 6pm

it works
