I wear a suit to work and as soon as I get home in the evening I change into "lounge wear" (i.e. PJs or tracksuit).

posieflump · 15/07/2008 13:23

I wear jeans all day but when I get in I change into trackie bottoms or if it near kids betime PJs
dh changes into 'lounge pants' (yes they really are called that from Adda!) as soon as he gets in from work

posieflump · 15/07/2008 13:24

Asda - you can buy 2 pairs in one pack

GooseyLoosey · 15/07/2008 13:24

Depends what I have been wearing at work. If I have been wearing a suit then it goes off the minute I get in. If its a more casual skirt and jumper, I can't be bothered.

cocolepew · 15/07/2008 13:24

lounge wear

artichokes · 15/07/2008 13:24

Maria Miller MP - I have yet to be faced with a child needing ferrying after I have pyjamaed. My DD is nearly two and goes to bed within 30mins of my return from work. When she is older I will have to entertain the idea of proper clothes in the house but I do not relish the prospect.

cocolepew · 15/07/2008 13:24

lounge wear

cocolepew · 15/07/2008 13:25

Sorry itchy trigger finger

Figfingers · 15/07/2008 13:29

Never change.. wear work clothes, right now mostly dresses from Zara and flat sandals, as well as accesories: bracelets, necklaces, sometimes even my sunnies at the top of my head..

But I do I wear a pinny that looks like a flamenco dress!!!

florenceuk · 15/07/2008 14:54

yes - if work clothes are "nice" then don't want kids putting grease on them so can wear e.g. trews again. Have pair of M&S track suit pants which are slightly too short but fine for slobbing. Shorts if it is hot.

LaDiDaDi · 15/07/2008 14:56

Depends, I often go for pjs rather than different clothes. Dp often does.

If I have a suit on, yes, put on comfy jogging bottoms or similar.

DH gets out of his suit when he gets home but that's more because he takes the dog out.

ruddynorah · 15/07/2008 15:13

no. but then i finish at midnight so i just take off my clothes and get in bed really.

i do not however, get up, put work clothes on, then spend all day in them til i go to work at 5pm, which i suppose would be the equivalent.

missblythe · 15/07/2008 15:14

I don't even go to work, but change into comfier clothes in the evening.

Smartish jeans and nice top for mummying around in during the day, unappealling Lonsdale tracksuit pants and a big ugly cardi come 7pm.

DrNortherner · 15/07/2008 15:14

It depends what I am wearing - if a client facing day and I'm dress up more then yes I would put trackies or jeans on at home. If not I may stay in work stuff, but exercise most evenings anyway so need to change for that.

OsmosisBanana · 15/07/2008 15:22

depends how uncomfortable what I'm wearing is.

If it's nylony, slightly too small, sweaty making type stuff then yes. If I'm comfortable, no.

Tutter · 15/07/2008 15:23

dh does

jeans or boden slouchy pull-ons (arf) depending on heat/slovenliness

Kewcumber · 15/07/2008 15:23

shoes off, jacket off.

Lief is too short to be faffing around with clothes when there's a DS to play with.

Kewcumber · 15/07/2008 15:24

"If it's nylony, slightly too small, sweaty making type stuff" then I don;t wear it to work at all... why would you wear uncomfortable clothes to work (unless uniform).

OsmosisBanana · 15/07/2008 15:31

because you buy it thinking it looks really nice, fits well, but then after a day of running around after idiots who can't do their jobs properly and want you to sort it out for them, or sitting in an over heated hospital office you realise it was a tad too small and you didn't check the materials on the label.

What an idiot I am eh? Note to self..

Only buy the finest items made from the finest materials made by a tailor. No no, the finest tailor.
