Who buys those T-Shirts that are available EVERYWHERE that are so short they sit on the waistband of your jeans?

Do you?
I dont. I want LENGTH.
I often walk through shops thinking OMG who is buying these?
So..is it you?

nope, not me

RipMacWinkle · 12/07/2008 21:56

what height are you?

could it be short arses like myself?

charliecat · 12/07/2008 21:57

5ft 6, but with norks I guess that would take up at least 10cm of the material...

IllegallyBrunette · 12/07/2008 21:57

I am only 5'2 and even I find some t'shirts too short.

IllegallyBrunette · 12/07/2008 21:57

Oh I have generous norks too, perhaps that is the problem.

expatinscotland · 12/07/2008 21:58

no, not me.

i fucking HATE those things.

BibiThree · 12/07/2008 21:58

I am 5ft1, short bodied and STILL find many tops too short, vests, t-shirts and shirts. I hate having the top of my trousers and pot belly on show.

But I would eel v stupid buying clothes in the "Tall" section of shops as I clearly am not

BibiThree · 12/07/2008 21:59

Large norkage here too

divastrop · 12/07/2008 21:59

in an ideal world it would only be 18-24 year olds with toned tummies who are buying them, but in reality i have seen them wandering around with saggy white tummy flesh hanging out the bottom(and possibly a bra-less nipple or 2).

BibiThree · 12/07/2008 21:59

But surely norkage doesn't affect the back of the top, which is still short...?!

Ladytophamhatt · 12/07/2008 22:00

i'm 5'3 and a bit, with tiny norks and they are still short on me.

charliecat · 12/07/2008 22:02

Can I just say that Primark sell longer ones, and sainsburys have a few in right now that are longer, but not as long as Primark. Anyone else direct me somewhere?

I used to have a toned tummy. No longer, though! No, I don't buy them and those that I have that are too short, I wear with a cardigan. Strewth, that makes me sound old! Does anyone know of stockists of sensibly lengthed (?) t-shirts?

Ledodgy · 12/07/2008 22:03

Me when I was 21 and had washboard stomach. [sigh]

RipMacWinkle · 12/07/2008 22:03

Ah it was just a thought.

I'm 5 feet with minimal norkage. Prob still too short on me too... I'm still trying to hide "post-baby" belly. Ha ha. He's 20 months.

RipMacWinkle · 12/07/2008 22:04

I've bought a couple of Kettlewell colours recently. NIce bright colours, wash well but one is definitely too long for me. the other is borderline.

My T-shirts all do that, and it's very annoying. I do have short legs (and so presumably a long body) for my height, though.

Kew do some tops that are described as "long" and are just about right for me.

MadBadandDangeroustoKnow · 12/07/2008 22:42

I don't buy those t-shirts either. Have awful collapsed stomach muscles and short t-shirt/low-slung trouser combo is just too gruesome to contemplate!

widgypog · 13/07/2008 12:15

I am 5ft 1 and I always buy the tall range t- shirts cause they are all too bloody short!!!!!!!

girlnextdoor · 13/07/2008 12:22

Kew have some longer T shirts available.
