Has anyone got anything nice in the Boden sale?

Have a bit of money I could spend or just waste on paying bills. Am size 12, 5'7" smallish waist, largish thighs, like dresses. Any recommendations?

Come on, someone must have ordered something nice!

I ordered 3 dresses + some other stuff. The dresses were all awful and are all going back, in fact everything is going back. The cut is just wrong and the material is nothing special. (We are a similar size btw)

Ah, this is what I feared. Which dresses did you order?

I ordered the spotty tea-dress as I felt I 'needed' a dress (am always in trousers) but being a short-arse, the waist sat just a little bit too low and it looked awful. I'm really disappointed as I so wanted to like it! Would be suitable for your size I'm sure though.

I don't bother with clothes for me from Boden, my boys PJs' a fab!

I've just mooched the site & almost bought a long style T shirt with a tie at the back....but couldn't decide, so didn't

A bikini (ordered 2 but they only sent 1 set and 1 pair of bottoms so phoned up and asked them if they expected me to pay postage to return lone bottoms and couldn't they use a bit of common sense and a woman who orders kids clothes and a size 14 bikini is not going to be running around on the med with her norks hanging out!)

2 shirts for DH

Pair of sunglasses

What were the jeans like? And the sunglasses? I also have a Liz Hurley fantasy. Most odd.
I don't trust the pix on the Boden site - too much leaping and tugging at the dresses which makes me suspicious - will look at the polka dot one though. I like polka dots.

Jeans are lovely but the rest of me isn't quite Liz. Couldn;t cope with eating one jelly baby and watercress soup all day!

Sunglasses are uber fab too - I have some Maxmara ones that were stupidly expensive and the Bodens ones are far far batter.

May even treat myself to another pair if they go down further!

I bought a pair of the wooden wedges in blue, an orange and pink bikini, a yellow skirt and three cardigans. All are very nice and I'll be keeping them. My one worry is that the cardies will go bobbly as they have in the past.

My Boden woolies have all gone bobbly - but I saw on the returns label, that "bobbling" is a legit reason to return for a refund.

Maybe we should all try it?

Just returned an 18 month old shit of DHs as the elbow had worn and split - they refunded me 75% of what I paid for it - so bought new one in sale for what I got back - they have gone up in my estimation for that!

Why were you keeping your dh's old turds. I wonder how much I'll get for a few of my dh's
