I've got a New Look gift card. Anything I MUST buy?

Obviously I shall do my usual trick of buying loads of clothes which I think look fab in the shop, get them home to discover that they don't actually fit, intend to take them back, put them in a bag at the back of the wardrobe, find them in a years time by which time it is too late to return them, and I've put on even more weight so there is no chance that they will fit so I may as well have poured the money straight down the drain.

But humour me anyway...

I wouldn't buy clothes, I would buy shoes from New Look instead. Some nice leather pumps or sandals maybe. They have a huge selection. Don't like the clothes.

and a handbag perhaps?

I do need shoes as it happens, so they are already on my list

Their sale is on, so going in store might be a bit grim-look onlione instead-am sure you could still use your gift card to pay.

Got some cheap-as-chips ballerinas there just for fun - turned out they're the most comfy ever.
Would go for fabric shoes over leather/imitation - they can be a bit hard & plasticky.

New Look plain cotton vests & t-shirts can be OK too but quality is so/so.

I love their £10 jeans! Am a nightmare shape when it comes to jeans, but their ones fit fabulously

Just had a NL open in our relatively small town, only other clothes shops were Peacocks and Mackays. Now everyone is wearing the same stuff. Last week at Mother & Baby there were 3 of us wearing the same top. Oh, the shame..
