Check out my profile pictures.
They looked great although I can see why PPH thought they showed a little too much toe cleavage.
Thanks to anyone who showed interest whilst I bored everyone

i could NEVER get away with those shoes!

you can, because you have nice, high arches and good toes.

if ever you think there's too much toe cleavage, however, just think of all the people who would wear them with horned hooves on display and not even think twice about it .

DarrellRivers · 06/07/2008 13:46

i did have to do a cramming session of heel cream for a few weeks before hand, and use fake tan really really carefully, as was worried my legs might match my shoes!
I was pleased with them, and they made the outfit, a blue/purple shirt dress, look dressier

you do use Flexitol, no?

every other night at first - it's strong stuff - with socks.

and then buff the feet with a pumice every other day in the shower and follow up with rich cream.

you will never have to worry about horned hooves again.

they are very lovely shoes .

DarrellRivers · 06/07/2008 13:53

lovely shoes but would be lethal for a woman in your condition i reckon

well, i can't see my feet anymore when i stand up, the bump is high and all in front and DS1's favourite spot is right on my sciatic nerve, so i'm spending a lot time in my CROCS .

i have them on right now, as i sit in front of Wimbledon in front of running to and fro outside pegging out clothes - i'm already nesting and getting everything cleaned up.

DarrellRivers · 06/07/2008 13:58

when are you due?

i love them , i nearly got them in the hot pink. but i got the white patent cork ones instead

they are lush !

top tip for heels - smooth in the bath with pumice, then foot file when dry and then smother in vaseline, twice a day if possible and within a week your heels will be totally smooth

28 October. But I'm hoping he decides to come out in the 38th week like his sisters.

Plus, when I conceived my cycles hadn't gone back to normal after ERPC, so it's sort of a guess with these things.

I'm going to start rolling around on the big ball and walking up and down stairs sideways around 37 weeks to encourage him to come and join us .

expatinscotland · 06/07/2008 14:00

my sister got the Gap wedges that sophable has, too.

DarrellRivers · 06/07/2008 14:02

lulu, i reckon the white patent ones will last more than this season, I have a horrid feeling that orange will be so this summer.
Nevermind, I do love the colour, it adds a dash of brightness to the days.
V exciting expat, can't believe where the time goes.

oh, i think that orange is a very versatile colour, like lime green.

i'd hang onto them for sure!

DarrellRivers · 06/07/2008 14:11

I will
My black wedges have lasted for 5 years, so I'm expecting similar performances
