depends what kind of wedding it is
does seems a leetle bit causual but people wear all sorts to weddings these days and flat shoes will at least be comfy

Ledodgy · 02/07/2008 10:39

Oh I didn't even see the wedding part. It may be a little casual but as Posie says depends on the wedding.

Stargazing · 02/07/2008 10:46

lovely. And I don't think too casual. Think the days of people going to weddings trussed up like chickens are on the way out. The jewelled effect of the maxi and the silvery accents posh it all up anyways

HeadFairy · 02/07/2008 10:59

Yeah, I know what you mean about flatties being a bit casual for a wedding. I'm quite tall so I tend to wear flat shoes anyway, plus I think heels with a maxi dress might be a bit odd. The wedding is a country wedding in a hotel by the Thames in Oxford so it's not formal London hotel or anything. I think I could get away with not wearing an uber smart dress and hat combo. To be honest, that's not me anyway, I'd look odd dressed too smartly
