Ouch! My sandals really hurt. Any tips?

Am thrilled with my Pierre Hardy for GAP gladiators.

Am not so thrilled by the amount that they rub on my Converse-softened feet.

What can I do to soften them up? Bearing in mind that they have a toe-post, so I can't wear them with socks (IN THE HOUSE, OBVIOUSLY!)

(In the old days I had feet of steel and could wear heels all day in the office, then trip to the nearest bar. But I don't miss that. Oh no.)

Perhaps you need to toughten your feet up instead. try surgical spirit.

failing that, my mum always swore that rubbing a teaspoon on the hard leather would do the trick.

Vaseline (rub on your feet and on the inside of the leather)

Vaseline. Failing that, moleskin tape.

Get an old pair of socks and cut a hole in the toes bit, then wet them, put on your sandals and wear round the house. Shoud work and please take a picture for us!

get some stick-on velcro and stick the soft bit (obv not the prickly bit) onto inside of bit of sandal that's hurting you

otherwise (just seen they're toe post --my advice - er don't!) just soggy bit of soap

Get some of those see through cushions specially for toe posts, Boots sell them, they're next to the Party Feet range. They might help?

Rub a bar of soap along the inside of the part that rubs.

Compeed blsiter plasters are amazing, wear them under the bit that hurts until you break them in. You can leave them on for days before you change them and they are like cushioned skin.

I meant blister plasters obviously
