Does this mean you have a spare? I can't get it, I had it on my waitlist but clicking Add to basket just took me to the queue right from the start.

I bought one on eBay, but then the wishlist hack worked. I'm shaking and just hope that it went through as it seems to have sold out straight after. I think I need a strong drink 😳

I am really sad I didnt get one, it is the only one this year that I really wanted.

Got an email from Selfridges at 9:15am about the advent calendar being available, well you would be 200,000 in the queue after that!

I didn't realise that the queue page (coming 8th October) before it became the queue was actually the queue.

Was about 89,000 in the queue. But used the Wish List trick about 5 mins before it sold out.

Got it! The workaround worked after deleten the app, via the website and being a guest

I managed to put 2 orders in via the wishlist hack on laptop. One for me and another for a friend who is at work. Hope they don't cancel the 2nd.

Selfridges does have a habit of bringing things in and out of stock so they probably will release more again

Just coming on to say thank you very much for the hack - like @MiaN it took me quite a few goes but I managed to add it to my bag from the wishlist and check out.

My DH (using AI) had managed to figure out that the release time was 9:05 as it was apparently embedded in the html for the webpage - so I assume lots of tech savvy people had done the same and also somehow knew how to get first in line. Even knowing it was 9:05 I ended up 151000 behind.

I didn’t try to order more than one but very pleased if they were limiting purchases to one per customer.

There were 46000 people in front of it and I missed the wishlist hack as I was scared to come off the page in case I lost my place (I've only got my phone and it's a bit rubbish) I'm so sad 😭

I was 47667 I the queue, then it sold out when I realised the heart trick. When I got the SBAC on Saturday the lovely woman who found the calendar for me signed me up to her concierge service. I've messaged her and she's going to see what she can do 🙏

Wish list hack didn’t work for me on chrome or safari on mobile or laptop. I’m irrationally annoyed 🤣but v pleased for those of you who got it. TBH it’s prob for the best as I’ve only smelt one of the perfumes!! But v keen to try the Thameen…

I've been awake most of the night for this, and I had it in my wishlist but it wouldn't add to basket, so I think my annoyance is rational rather than irrational.

Anyone know anything about store stock? I missed out but my DH is in London today so if they have stock then I will send him on a mission.

You can still cancel the Ebay purchase, if you don't want it for the jacked up price! I think you have an hour "cooling off" period.

I am so happy I could help fellow mumsnetters with the hack, and feel gutted it hasn't worked for everyone. I really hope you can still get the calendar in the next waves.
