Help styling a Reiss dress for a late September wedding (please!)

After my thread looking for inspiration for a family wedding and a fruitless day shopping yesterday, I've bought this dress, which I've had my eye on for a while (and blown my budget).
Can I have some help styling it? I'm 5'3", size 16 (have bought in petite), not a fan of heels, but could manage a small one. Wedding is late September, so weather is anyone's guess.
Hoping to compensate for blowing my budget by buying cheaper bits to go with, or hunting on Vinted.

I too think the teal Joe Brown jacket is nice - but not with your dress. It has little embroidered bits & ornate buttons, & is quite a relaxed, even slightly boho jacket. Your dress on the other hand is graphic & minimal. Buy the jacket - it's lovely - but choose another jacket for the wedding?

That’s a real statement dress, please don’t do the 80s pop of colour with red orange etc accessories, go for something neutral or toning. Ie navy, nude, or a metallic, like silver , bronze or gold.

ss for jackets, a navy velvet blazer would look great.

All these pops of colour suggestions are so dated, the dress is too statement, it will looo much more elegant with something tonal , bright pink, red, orange is all a no.

The dress is gorgeous! I have dress envy. I think orange Esska Charlie shoes would look fab with your own orange clutch bag.

I hadn't realised that this thread had popped back to life! Thanks everyone for the suggestions and comments, I knew this was the right place to ask.

No purchases yet, but I do have my eye on some Esska Fink shoes in champagne (I've wanted a pair for ages). I tried on the dress with some metallic flat sandels that I have, and metallic really worked.

As much as I love the pop of colour jackets linked, I'm currently thinking a jacket in ivory or navy might work best (though aware that matching the shades might be tricky). I may yet change my mind though.

As for bag, I think I might go with my orange clutch, which is a fairly muted orange suede has metallic hints (actually, prints of beetles and moths, sound weird, but I like it!). Pic attached, as its difficult to describe.

I love that bag also, and I think the jacket and shoes idea sounds lovely. Let the dress do the talking. Anything else is just too much.

I also am not a fan of the random pop of colour on a dress that is already a statement dress. I have a gorgeous pashmina in grey/silver that I use on occassions like this - it's usually just for walking to the car or cab or tube or whatever and it looks great and stops me having to buy a jacket specially. Would an appropriate pashmina of some sort work for you here?

I would also consider swapping for a more satement belt if you want.

I was wondering when I'd see someone use Chat GPT for an actual visualisation on S&B, rather than just using it for a fashion analysis/recommendations!

Also, I've actually just realised how much it's started to be used on Etsy etc to show "models" wearing the garment.

Part of me looks at that image & thinks "how brilliantly useful" - & the other part of me thinks "where's the fun in that?"!!!! Although one thing that it could usefully do is show it on a petite size 16 model, like the OP.

It has, however, confirmed to me two things - one: although the colour is ok, the jacket is indeed a bit too soft & boho for the dress - it needs a sharper jacket. And two: a blazer style that's not in a petite cut would be far too long on the OP with this dress. Which I think would be confirmed if you made the model 5' 2".
