I think lipstick is more of a winter thing anyway.

But what do I know?

TheRealMrsOsborne · 27/06/2008 19:15

I love lipgloss - but i find the expensive makes are really sticky like juicy tubes and lancome. I like the glamshine ones think they are loreal.

Don't think i'd ever wear lipstick again, i like the shiny look.

charmkin · 27/06/2008 19:16

i ahve an in between one
is lip glossy and a bit shimmery
but lip gloss is too sticky

l'oreal one

TheChicken · 27/06/2008 19:18

even if i use a lipstick i give it a swowwsh of gloss
am sure we are fickle enough though to soon revert to lipper

I'm loving the gloss - it makes me feel so youthful............... how gullible am I?
Aveda's my favourite and I got a good freebie from Clarins last weekend (when purchasing my regular anti-wrinkle age-defying ungent stock).
Lipstick and gloss in the morning and gloss top ups during the day for me

RubySlippers · 27/06/2008 19:26

i don't wear lipstick and haven't for ages

cannot find one that suits me

I got a free Benefit gloss with last month's glamour mag and it is v nice

MaryAnnSingleton · 27/06/2008 19:28

I go through phases of lipstick (usually in winter) and then lipgloss - am currently putting on a bit of lipstick (Bourjois sheer Brille one) and topping with a dash of lipgloss, or else a slick of a clear Juicy Tube

MaryAnnSingleton · 27/06/2008 19:29

I used to love Benetint btw, but a bit matte and harsh now

OverMyDeadBody · 27/06/2008 19:30

I've never worn lipstick but have recently discovered the joys of lip gloss and don't leave home without it!

InTheseShoes · 27/06/2008 20:12

I don't like lipgloss - too sticky and doesn't stay on five minutes. I like a good, solid block of colour that you scrub off with a brillo pad - highly recommend Maybelline 18 hours wear (although the pigs have discontinued my favourite colour!!!!) - none of that noncy gloss on top either. And I don't CARE if I'm old fashioned!!!!

maidamess · 27/06/2008 20:15

I still wear lippy. Chic by No 7 . Its fab.

lubyluby · 27/06/2008 20:15

i love lipgloss, especially the benefit one, its my usual brand and the ones they were giving away free is my usual colour so i brought 3 magazines for the gloss

i find lipstick usually tastes funny or is too perfumed for me, the worst i have is a chanel one whihc is hideous, makes me all pouty trying to keeop it away from my mouth, shame as its a fab colour (bengal)

chocolatespiders · 27/06/2008 20:16

which Glamshine one would you recommend?

i have heard good things about these...

wishfort · 29/06/2008 10:01

The way I look at it is this. The movies: do those drop dead gorgeous ladies have shiny lips? No. Nuff said.

girlnextdoor · 29/06/2008 10:13

I like Clinique colour surge Butter Shine- it's half way between lippie and gloss- have bought a 2nd one after I finished the first, so must be good!

I also like L'oreal lip glosses. I don't think it's worth buying pricey lip gloss- eg Lancome, Clarins, Clinique etc as they all seem to last for a few minutes only! The L'oreal one seems good- don't know the name off-hand but it says it lasts for 6 hours- well, maybe there is something left after 6 hours, but at £7.99 it's not too pricey.

electra · 29/06/2008 10:40

I like the Chanel ones....although they have discontinued my favourite colour

cupsoftea · 29/06/2008 10:44

wear it but not on a windy day

wonderstuff · 29/06/2008 10:44
