What are these sandals like?

Does anybody who has them recommend them?

Not my style I have to say. They look very heavy. Do you usually wear Dr Martens? x

I had them and loved the way they looked but they were indeed extremely heavy. This made it pretty difficult to walk around in them even for an average day at the office. So I sold mine on Vinted.

I don’t have those ones ones but do have DM sandles. I find them really comfy and can walk for miles in them.

Did they hurt your feet?

It was more my ankles but they were painful to wear, yes.

Definitely a couple of situations where you wouldn’t want to wear them:

Running of the bulls
Where there’s quicksand

I love my doc marten sandals and have had loads of versions over the last 20 years
I find this style ^^ and the 2 strap no back style least comfortable
the best ones are the ones with a couple of straps and a back strap, especially once you’ve worn them in
I like the weight of them aslong as they aren’t flatform
