Whenever I try and do really casual, I always end up feeling scruffy and just odd.

So, day out at theme park, no kids so i'll be going on all the rides

What would you wear ?

Anyone know what the sizing of Rocket Dog footwear is like ??

I am normally a 4, but very occasinally a 3.

You can look scruffy at a theme park !
jeans, t-shirt (jumper in case its cold), flat comfortable shoes.

If you want to do something a bit more dressy, put on some sparkly lippy, fancy shades.

Swedes · 27/06/2008 10:35

These two outfits are popular Not sure about the shoes though.

cropped jeans or ong denim shorts depending on the weather with a nice top and ballet pumps, iof your hair is long tie it back if its shorter wear a hairband or slide, otherwise you will end up coming off that rollercoaster with your dc looking like you have done your hair in a wind tunell!

IllegallyBrunette · 27/06/2008 11:26

Only thing i am woprried about with pumps is that I hate it if my feet get wet and I then have to wal round.

Perhaps trainers/boots might be better.

Anyone any idea about the sizing on Caterpillar boots ?? I know they not particularly stylish, but i'd use them loads in the winter for the school run.

If you're going on a water ride (or several!) avoid denim as it'll soak it up. Any footwear will get soaked too.

I usually float around in linen/cotton mix trousers (they dry out v. quickly) and securely fitting sandals (NOT flip flops - they'll come off and they wont let you on hanging roller coaster rides with them). Have to say I only ever think about practicality at theme parks, not style

Good idea to check that sunglasses fit securely too

ChippyMinton · 27/06/2008 11:52

crocs and a big

IllegallyBrunette · 27/06/2008 11:54

I wear glasses, so will have to take them off for the fast rides. Can't risk having to walk around without them for most of the day LOL.

Only my kids do crocs in this house.

my crocs are a dull colour and disguised under my wide linen trews
