Crocs with socks?

this is a massive fashion failure?

I like them with socks so my feet don’t get sweaty

My feet don’t get at all sweaty in crocs. I wear them with the back strap over the front like clogs. Plus, the holes mean they’ve got loads of ventilation.

Feet can get dirty in them without socks, though.

I’m wearing socks and crocs at this very moment!

Oh no I love crocs and often wear socks with crocs. You can't beat their comfort and how practical they are. Are they are fashion disaster ... Probably 🧐

I have the leopard print ballet style Crocs and they got me through 5 hours of D'n'B raving in a park at the weekend. No socks but absolutely no blisters and no wrecked feet the next day. I won't have a word said against them.

As a 90s kid and 00s teen who was conditioned to make your socks invisible…..I can’t stand this trend!

I think it bugs me when it’s a heatwave and all these teen girls are in tiny cycle shorts / denim hot pants and tiny tops yet have these thick sports socks pulled up with crocs on. Likewise, shirtless teen boys but the signature sports socks are on with their sliders and crocs. I find it painful 😂😂

What I find even more hilarious is that this is exactly what our grandparents did - socks and sandals. I mean I know fashion goes in cycles and repeats…..

I love my crocs but you’ll never see me in socks and crocs / socks and sliders, I think it’s insane lol.

Yeah my teen loves a sock with her crocs. My main issue is she goes for black socks with white crocs but hey… it’s not my feet. I don’t own any crocs but I do like the look of them. David Hockney used to wear a bright yellow pair with his tweed suit ( RIP)

Yes. And they are awful for your feet, especially for children.

Wearing Crocs all of the time at home, rather than going barefoot, has sorted out my plantar fasciitis.

Crocs with socks is fine. Socks with anything is fine.

I recently bought Bowser crocs and I love them.

People who need "fashion" rules and then impose them on others are unstylish in my experience

Just wear what you want, who cares if someone else thinks it looks bad? Conformity to nonsense fashion rules is boring, be yourself!!!

Different fashion trends can be amusing.

I mean once upon a time I owned the adidas trousers with poppers all up the side. What the heck was that? Now I’m picturing those with crocs..

Thanks to those who sent the helpful comments :-) I'm thinking of getting a pair and a friend told me that crocs with socks were a big no no. I wasn't sure why... I'm obviously not very stylish 🤣😃

I don’t think so. My very trendy mid 20s dd wears them. She posted a photo from her recent travels in a youth hostel where everyone put their croc feet in a circle. I’m currently abroad and lots of younger people wearing crocs. No socks. But it’s too hot for socks

I think the rule is if you’re a teenager or a chef you can get away with them, otherwise wear your socks with Birkenstocks 😆
