There are very few sun creams I can use without risking a serious allergic reaction. Most are not available casually or cheaply. Loyal is not quite the right word. hostage to whatever price and hoops they want to set might be more accurate.

heaven forbid I run out or lose my bottle. I can’t just buy more.

What do you use @Ponderingwindow ?

DS is very rashy in the sun and for ages ultra sun was the least rashy cream we had found. Then we discovered Altruist and it’s much cheaper and a nicer texture and he doesn’t react to it. So we all use that. The dermatologist we saw after some awful skin reactions said that with sensitive skin it’s better to use factor 30 than 50 so I’ve stuck with that.

On my face I have a few I like; heliocare, LRP, Altruist face, Biore, surprisingly garnier is very good… Currently using a Korean one I got in a beauty box and it’s lovely, absorbs like a moisturiser, doesn’t give me itchy eyes, make up goes on over it without pilling and it seems to work well. Dh is asleep in the bedroom though and I can’t remember what it’s called!

I use Nivea moisturiser with SPF 30 on my face every day - cheap, does the job, and doesn't cause spots.
But as for the rest of me, it just gets what was in whichever supermarket I happened to be in at the time slathered on it. I've never even thought about branding or weighing up the differences 🤣
