Can anyone recommend a decent hair dryer?

I’ve never gone for expensive hair dryers, I think £50 is the average spend which may explain my issues. I have hard to maintain hair so when I blow dry it I need to do it in sections and take my time or I end up with a frizzy untameable mess. I’ve had 4 hairdryers over the past 2 years and after a few months of use they overheat and stop working until they cool down which means I then need to quickly dry my hair as fast as possible before it overheats. I’m fed up and want a decent one that can last at least a while longer than the rest. Any recommendations?

I have always made do with basic hairdryers as I wash and style my hair every day. However the plug on my old faithful hairdryer broke recently and to repair the sealed plug was ridiculous. So I invested in a Dyson that I spotted on special. Well it has been a gamechanger. Just love it, so quiet, so many heat settings, stays cool, doesn’t overheat and is lightweight. Drying and styling my bob is so easy.
I have now bought one as a birthday gift for my daughter, which is also part of her early Xmas pressie. It will get well used as she has 2 daughters with long hair.

I might add that I did a bit of research before I forked out for my Dyson, there are so many options out there,but my hairdresser has always used a Dyson on my hair, so I had some knowledge of the product before I actually bought one.

Same here. It is excellent. I also need to dry my hair in sections and it takes forever without my Dyson.
