Face cream for dry skin - NOT skin food by Weleda

I have been using Weleda for about 2 years now, it done me well but I think my skin has become so used to it that it no longer does the job and possibly need to change. My skin seems extremely dry at the minute, more than usual and I need to find a face cream that works well and one that is reasonably priced. I can consider £30 as a max amount. Also willing to use anything that might be better than a cream, a serum maybe or an oil. Thank you.

I'd use a thick cream like CeraVe Cream and cover lightly with an occlusive like Aquaphor. The occlusive balm keeps the moisture from evaporating out due to weather conditions like being in the desert or polar vortex wind and extreme cold. Even a really light coating of Vaseline can work.
