Should I dye my still-brown dry hair grey at 58?

Does anyone, have advise for hair that has stayed brown.I am now 58.
It still seems to stay brown, but it's very dry. anyone dye their hair grey?
Should I go to a hairdresser and get some advise. Would it look wierd to dye your hair grey?

Should I just wait and see if it still eventually goes turns grey naturally, and just get oil for it?

Why would you dye your hair grey? Leave it as it is, no one 'has' to be grey,

Get some pure Argan oil to moisturise you hair, run it through after you wash it while it's still wet.

I’m 67, My hair is mainly brown with a few grey streaks. Doesn’t bother me and anyway, I’m allergic to hair dye!

There is no way dyeing it grey is going to improve the condition, you need better products and keep the natural colour. Mins is still about 99% dark at the same age and I am very grateful for that. But I do find sometimes that my friends have been assuming I dye it.

I think you misunderstood the thread.

I’m in my late 70s and my hair is still predominantly brown. There are plenty of grey hairs, but you only see them if you look close up. Natural highlights, that’s what they are.

I have two groups of friends who are around my age, all grey haired, and when I talk about having it cut they encourage me to keep my hair long while it’s brown.

Why lose your brown colour if you don’t have to? If you want it to look cared for, then do the moisturising methods suggested above. I like L’Oréal Extraordinary Oil products.

No grey hair is so ageing.
