Need recommendations for comfortable sandals that do not rub or cause cuts

Can anyone suggest a pair of sandals that definitively, from the start, don't cause cuts to the feet? Currently living with bleeding feet from leather type sliders, tried doc martens, crocs and various other options. I've kind of given up sandals this year but sweltering in my socks and trainers!

100% agree. My preferred style is Teva Tirra - years of comfortable use, have multiple pairs. Shaped footbed, 3 adjustable straps. Lots of colourways and variations, so they must still be popular.

Another vote for Salt-Water here. I’ve worn them for miles all around Disney in sweltering heat with no issues whatsoever. They’re so comfy and have such great colours that I now own 7 pairs!

I have a Reiker pair. In fact 2 pairs as they are so comfortable and reduced. Make of a stretchy fabric and just slip on. They're online in cream or navy.

This is a perrenial problem for me as i don't wear leather. I've had some great fitflops in the past, but the pair i ordered thisvyear badly bruised my toe after 10 mins wear.

They are so comfortable and look great. I walked 14km today in the heat and my feet felt fine.

I have a fabric version of these Skechers Bobs sandals. They are very comfy.

They look like hell, but for day-to-day I wear the ones you get in Mountain Warehouse with the adjustable velcro straps. Not a deep sole to them though.

Doc martens and crocs are rough on feet

I ordered these but they didn't look very elegant so swapped them for the Tom's Marins, much nicer imo.

Salt-water make my arches hurt just looking at them..

I get on really well with Moshulu stuff. Some designs have a rather garden centre vibe, but the rest is OK. I can't manage Birkenstocks due to having very shallow and narrow feet, but Moshulu's toe post cork footbed sandals do me perfectly.

commenting just so I find this thread again. recently got new sandals from timberland that look great and seemed fine walking around the house but gave enormous blisters on a longer walk. maybe I need to toughen up my feet somehow.

If its any help to you op, I bought a pair of sandals from New Look for £17.99 they are so comfy and great to walk in. I went out and done a three mile walk in them had no issues so far touch wood. Here's the link they are on sale now for £13 odds.

I bought some tevas. The soles were comfortable but the straps were awful, so scratchy. I was really disappointed.

Another vote for Saltwater sandals, but in particular the “Boardwalk” ones which have thicker soles making them more supportive and comfortable for walking distances

I’ve just bought some Hotter Tourist sandals. The most comfortable sandals I’ve had in a long time. They come in different width fittings.

I find the bar is too wide so comes too far up my toes so does rub-sadly.

I've done 20,000 steps per day in these in Lisbon and Athens. They are gloriously soft and the rubber sole cushions your feet.
