Help identifying a chocolate brown graduation dress seen at Newcastle

Looking for a chocolate brown dress I saw on a lady yesterday at a graduation.

chocolate brown , no collar , round neck , think buttons on the top half maybe all the way . Short sleeve . Camr in at the waist , think there was a belt in same fabric . mid length .completely plain , no print. Don’t think it was linen . Wish I had asked her where she bought it . Searched Boden , REISS , jigsaw with no look . Was it you ? You had a daughter in a green dress , blonde hair graduating at Newcastle uni at 09.00 yesterday ( Thurs ) and went to the Broad Chare for lunch as did I . Any thoughts please ?

No sadly not . It had a round neck not a v , but similar length and shade of brown . Thank you anyway

If it was my daughters I would know all the details 😂 but as it was my sons …. No chance, wouldn’t have a clue about any detail . ( I liked this other dress so much I was thinking of buying to put away for hers next )

I have a chocolate brown dress from Max Mara which sounds similar. I bought it in 2022 I think and have lived in it each summer. Try googling Max Mara / Weekend Max Mara brown T shirt dress and some newer options might be similar to the lady’s dress?

Sleeves are right , buttons are wrong . Thanks for trying . Think I need 3 and then take the sleeves off one , skirt off another . I will hopefully find later in the year on Vinted when everyone is selling on . Appreciate the effort everyone who has replied has gone to .

What length was the dress-short midi mXi

I would say midi on the lady , she wasn’t tall , maybe around 5,4 and it was about half way between knees and ankles . She had it in with brown woven ballet flats .
