I'm looking for some good quality vest tops, the sleeveless kind as opposed to strappy. I have a bra with side support which comes quite high under my armpits so I need the vest to be the same.

What's the context? Work wear? Casual? Gym?

I’ve a lovely one from Fat Face which id never usually look at!

MeetMeOnTheCorner · 06/07/2026 20:19

M&S ones are pretty good. I’ve a knitted one and it looks expensive. Just make sure the shoulders are wide enough to hide bra straps!

https://www.fatface.com/style/su897710/g11013 sorry link would help!

Ah, ok. I was going to suggest looking at Lululemon depending on your figure type and context

Probably better suited for casual or gym situations, but they are really good in that they don't have gaping or low armpits. I have one that is ruched in the sides, so on my size 10 hourglass figure with a small waist and big boobs, (so big bra), it's really flattering, as my bra is covered and my waist looks tiny. They tend to be tight fitting though, so wouldn't flatter every shape. Also not really dressy of course, and tend to be in plain colours

I like Uniqlo x Anya Hindmarch "Eyes" Ribbed Tank Tops

Nearlyadoctor · 06/07/2026 22:08

I like the Uniqlo ones with built in bras- surprisingly supportive and very comfy

These sound interesting, and good to know that they are supportive. I had a look on the website, but couldn't see any mention of the cup sizes. They just seem to be S,M,L etc. So not sure if suitable for 32e/f

I’m 32E and wear a small , I’d be a size 10 top normally. 5’4 if that’s any help

Ah perfect. That's exactly the same height and size as me! Thanks

I’ve now got 3 of these.

I'm a maniac for vests

They are selling them for £8 a vest in my local store, in those 3 exact colours too - this 3 pack seems like a right bargain!

Edited to add I have just been on the website and ordered them!

Beachtastic · 07/07/2026 15:14

I like these too! Might have to add them to my collection of 90 million vests 🫣

I saw some nice vests in Sainsbury's the other day and Peacocks is my go-to for basics like this.

I saw some in COS the other day that looked good quality. https://www.cos.com/en-gb/women/womenswear/tops/sleeveless/product/ribbed-cotton-tank-top-white-1326259002

Edited

there was a different price on the multipack, maybe £24, when they arrived. No idea why they were so reasonable. I was wearing one again today and got the other two washed so I’m wearing them on repeat with my pairs of shorts this week.

RampantIvy · 07/07/2026 21:26

I have those M and S ones. I bought mine about 3 or 4 years ago and they are good quality.

RoosterSpud · Yesterday 09:26

Primark vest tops are my absolute GOAT. Cheap as chips and are longline - I am short, but have a long torso and prefer my vests to be that bit longer to sit on my hips. They used to do spaghetti strap versions but I can't find them in store this year - gutted as I need new sizes!! But they still have the thicker strap version, multiple colours.

Same here, very impressed

Reiss.

They are expensive for a vest but they're worth it. They're very flattering and they won't show your bra at all.
