dh is currently "working" (I use the term loosely) in NY and has offered to bring back some Sephora goodies if I can point him in the right direction. I have a couple of requests, but wondered if there are any must-haves I'm missing. What are your top only-available-or-much-cheaper-in-the-US buys?

I don't like it but I know people who stock up massively on Creme de la Mer over there.

Everything is so much cheaper it might be a good idea to stockpile all your faves.

NARS or Laura Mercier are cheaper over there too

Trish Mcevoy stuff is also much cheaper

her make up brushes are excellent

Have you had a look at their website? here. Any of the american brands are comparatively dirt cheap in NY e.g. Mac, Benefit - not sure if Sephora stock either of these but all the big department stores do.

Strivectin-HD miracle wrinkle cream. It's still $139 for a 60z tube, but is supposed to work wonders! Originally designed to treat stretchmarks. Anyway, me mam swears by it.
