You need to buy these. Game changer.

I used these and gave myself 2 massive shaving cuts😂😂 pretended "no idea how this happened!!" to the rest of the world

Dermaplane / shave. I’ve done it for a few years, it doesn’t grow back thicker. I do pluck the whiskers, after shaving you can feel them easily, give them a day or two and then pluck. For those in the ‘it’s peach fuzz, it’s natural just leave it’ I don’t think you are blessed with the very long fluff some of us have!

These are great. I use to reduce rather than remove completely.

Yeah they’re the same, it just has a new and wanky name 🤣

I have never had stubble grow back, and I am very dark haired! I guess it’s different for everyone.

They’re not exactly the same. Dermaplaning is much closer to the skin so you remove gross skin stuff too. It’s lovely looking at it all, and your face feels gorgeous

I have blonde “peach fuzz” but it can grow wildly if left unchecked for too long! I use the Immac (I think it’s called Veet now?!) specifically for your face. Leave it on for 5/6 minutes and wipe off with a cloth. I do this every six weeks or so.

I use this and it’s really quick and easy, no stubble either.

Been using this Flawless facial epilator for a few years now. Looks like make up. Fits in little side pocket in my bag and I whip it out if I feel a stray hair. So easy.

My sons (late teens) have bought the eyebrow ones for mono brow.

I leave it alone, we have it for a reason. The main one being temperature control.

EspressoWarrior · 05/07/2026 09:57

I was looking at this on my face this morning. And wondering if I should get it all removed when I next go and get my £10 eyebrow thread and henna. I go to a tiny salon run by a beautiful Indian lady, who with brutal efficiency, whips out hair from the root with a length of cotton before you’ve even time to shout ‘Ouch!’ I’ll ask her next time - am sure she’ll relish the opportunity.

AelinAG · 05/07/2026 10:00

dermaplaning once a week

I think you get the best finish with threading. Indian salons are very very good at it ime. And cheap!

I really miss my old house for this, no one does threading near me, it's all waxing and laser.

Maybe so but it still does prove that the whole "if you shave then the hair will grow back thicker" stuff was an absolute conspiracy theory designed to make women spend shitloads on hair removal cream or bleach etc when a simple flick of a razor would do it.

The thick, individual crone hairs I pluck or occasionally have them electrolysed (I had a couple that kept ingrowing)

The fluff, I don’t care about

Where is it from, please?

PermanentTemporary · 05/07/2026 15:42

Shaving. But then I don’t really have ‘fluff’, I have a beard and sideburns. I shave daily, which is an improvement on twice a day, which was what I needed to do before getting my Phillips Lumea.

A lot of the hair is white now so I’m considering reverting to electrolysis, which I always hated.

Wilkinson sword Intuition razors or super drugs versions are good for face shaving.
Don't be tempted to buy cheapo versions -i speak from experience !
Peach fuzz is totally different to chin hair and it does not come back thicker it is very fine hair and grows back exactly the same.
I angle the torch light from my phone near my face to highlight the hair then shave downwards .
I like the smooth effect it leaves , skin care products are more efficient and make up looks better , i also think it acts as an exfoliant.
