I’ve ordered this dress and tried it on in 2 sizes, 14 and 12. The 12 is a bit tight but fits, the 14 is looser which should I get planning on losing weight.

If the 12 fits and you plan on losing weight then I think that’s your answer.
can you post photos of yourself in both?

I’d get the 14 as it’s fitted and you need to be comfy when sitting down or out for a meal. If you lose some weight you can wear as a looser fit or have some darts put into it.

Depends on when it’s for and if you are currently changing lifestyle habits to lose weight.
Something that is a bit tight will stay in the back of the wardrobe, because it won’t look right and will be uncomfortable.
It sounds like neither of them are right tbh and, speaking from experience, returning both and finding something the perfect fit is a better option.

14

I think I’ll do as pp said and have darts put in when I lose weight if necessary.

The 14 does fit well. It’s Doen like according to an influencer I follow. But not Doen prices.

Get the 14. Everyone is always planning on losing weight. You can have it taken in next Summer if needed.

I say this a someone with a wardrobe full of rarely worn things that are just a little too tight.
