Just seen Sally Hansens airbrush legs & wondering what else is out there to cover broken veins, blemishes etc? I’m really self conscious about my legs & it doesn’t help that they’re so white! I have sensitive skin so need to take that into consideration.

I'm sure a version of Keromask was what they used to use as part of the stage makeup for Cats back in the day.

I've got some really horrible red blotchy vein patches on one leg and my foot, and last year I started using Dermocol makeup cover, think I got it from Amazon. It sounds similar to the Keromask. I ended up using it rather than fake tan. Gives a nice even colour and covers the dodgy patches and doesn't rub off. I just dab it on with a makeup sponge and work it in and across.

I googled Dermacol & it’s facial ( couldn’t find any specifically for legs) - was it the facial stuff that you used @Southwest12?

I keep seeing Miracle De Paris advertised all over my social media. It looks great, but wondering if it’s too good to be true like lots of these products that saturate Instagram. Wondered if anyone’s tried it.

I use it à lot. It does give good coverage and is long lasting, but tbh it isn’t the most natural of tones. I have really awful varicose veins, particularly across one ankle and I need the heavy coverage.( I had my veins treated twice and they came back both times witn a vengeance).
Perhaps if you needed less coverage than me, there may be a more natural looking option.

Yes, it's just the facial one. A little goes a long way.

I have broken veins on my legs and a varicose vein and I’ve tried lots of make up over the years. I’ve tried Sally Hansen, Vita Librata and Good Works leg make up. The Sally Hansen leg make is the best by far. I’d never be without it. It covers everything and blurs your skin-it’s amazing stuff. If you don’t have any blemishes on your legs the other brands I mentioned would be fine but Sally Hansen stuff is great for more marks.
I use fake tan too.

HeidiLite · 30/06/2026 21:19

I use Erborian CC body, but the coverage is quite light, so go try it out before you buy.

Gonegrey31 · 30/06/2026 21:26

I agree that the Sally Hansen product is great . I also use Estée Lauder’s Double Wear camouflage make up for small areas that need concealing

Could this work on arms? I have badly blemished arms from a stress rash and insect bite scars. There seem to be so many colours too

managingexpectations · 01/07/2026 02:16

ive only ever used the sally Hansen one, I love it. A little goes a long way so the tube lasts forever. It looks natural but just evens everything out including spider veins and light bruises and it adds a tiny bit of colour so my legs, that never tan, match my feet and the rest of me.
it doesn’t transfer and only comes off with soap and water.
I had a minor panic getting ready for a wedding thinking I’d lost it but it was just tidied away so my ugly legs were saved.

This Works. - the legs version - purchased at John lewis
fab and believe does not contain so many nasties

DoloresDelEriba · 01/07/2026 12:27

Sally Hansen one is great. Easy to apply. Stays well. Actually have to wash it off. I’m allergic to lots of stuff and can’t use fake tan for that reason. This stuff is great for me. Recommend..

Miracle de Paris

It’s the Vita Liberata Body Blur for me. Lovely, natural looking and the tiniest bit of shimmer.
